Both units negotiated increased access to certain leaves and improvements in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summary of the Library of Parliament new agreements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New seniority rights for scheduling<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Improved Bereavement Leave<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Improved Family Responsibility Leave<\/li>\n<li>Increased access to career advancement measures such as Educational leave<\/li>\n<li>New protections against harassment and abuse of authority in the workplace<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Summary of the House of Commons Operations and Postal new agreements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Union successfully defended paid leave for medical and dental appointments<\/li>\n<li>Increased access to weekend premiums<\/li>\n<li>Expanded Bereavement Leave<\/li>\n<li>Hours of work improvements<\/li>\n<li>Expanded access to clothing and uniforms<\/li>\n<li>Greater access to family related and sick leaves for seasonal and other workers<\/li>\n<li>Increased access to taxi vouchers for unscheduled overtime<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Importantly, PSAC won an agreement that allows Union Representatives access to the workplace so members can have direct contact with union staff.
