{"id":6815,"date":"2018-10-17T10:29:32","date_gmt":"2018-10-17T15:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fr.une-sen.org\/press\/?p=6815"},"modified":"2018-10-17T10:29:32","modified_gmt":"2018-10-17T15:29:32","slug":"2018-psac-national-young-worker-forum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unesen.ca\/press\/?p=6815","title":{"rendered":"2018 PSAC National Young Worker Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Alliance Executive Committee (AEC) has approved a one-time <strong>National Young Worker Forum<\/strong> to be held in Ottawa from <strong>December 7 to 9, 2018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This forum is an opportunity for a limited number of young workers (age 35 or under) to participate in a dynamic weekend of networking and planning for the 2019-2021 cycle. The goal is to focus on building more young worker committees, strengthening those that exist and having a plan for their ongoing success.<\/p>\n<p>The objectives of the Forum are to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Discuss, strategize and plan to grow strong and vibrant regional young worker committees;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Network and share experiences and successes;<\/li>\n<li>ldentify ways in which young workers can engage in PSAC issues and<br \/>\ncampaigns in the next cycle;<\/li>\n<li>Build a network the supports young worker initiatives across the country;<\/li>\n<li>ldentify tools and resources that will ensure success; <span style=\"display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: transparent; color: #333333; font-family: 'Libre Franklin','Helvetica Neue',helvetica,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;\">and <\/span><\/li>\n<li>Engage in workshops that challenge and inspire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Young workers who are interested in attending the PSAC Young Workers Forum should contact their respective PSAC REVP&#8217;s office for more information on the selection process and deadline to apply.<\/p>\n<p>In solidarity,<\/p>\n<p>Chris Aylward<br \/>\nNational President, PSAC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Alliance Executive Committee (AEC) has approved a one-time National Young Worker Forum to be held in Ottawa from December 7 to 9, 2018.
