In preparation for bargaining, PSAC will hold a national Bargaining Conference in Ottawa. The Conference provides and important opportunity to discuss bargaining demands and strategy for the coming round of negotiations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Details about the Conference\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Date: January 9-10, 2016<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 delegate per local for locals with fewer than 50 members.<\/li>\n<li>2 delegates per local for locals with 50 or more members.<\/li>\n<li>3 delegates per local for locals with 100 or more members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>For a copy of the callout letter, please click here. Notwithstanding this letter, the following applies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The list of delegates\u2019 names and contact information must be received by the UNE National Office <strong>no later than November 19, 2015<\/strong>. Please send your list by email to <a href=\"mailto:Emily.Gault-Due@une-sen.org\">Emily.Gault-Due@une-sen.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"..\/featured\/2015-10-08 Call for NBC Delegate Selection.pdf\">For a copy of the callout letter, please click here<\/a>. <strong>Notwithstanding this letter, the following applies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Delegates to the bargaining conference <strong>must<\/strong> be elected at a Local meeting, held in accordance with UNE bylaws and policies.\u00a0 Because of the short notice that was received for the conference, I realize that it may be difficult to provide the required 30 days\u2019 notice to members.\u00a0 <strong>Therefore, on an exceptional basis, Locals must provide members at least 21 days\u2019 notice of the meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>There is also a separate process for\u00a0equity members to apply individually.
