The bargaining team was able to secure improvements on the job security front and better protections for employees facing layoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Once it goes into effect, the collective agreement will expire on December 31, 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this week, our members at the National Arts Centre voted in favour of the tentative agreement put before them.
