To my brave members fighting the fire, we are thinking of you and praying for your return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our hearts are broken for all members that were evacuated to British Columbia, Edmonton, and any other locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the 5 big crises facing the labour movement and workers is climate change. We acknowledge and understand that we must be a partner in dealing with Climate change and we have committed to doing our best to address the impacts to you and all workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are in frequent communication with your employer that is following their emergency evacuation procedures, \u201cGuidelines for the treatment of Employees in Emergency Workplace Disruption\u201d for staff. Please reach out to your local, regional<\/a>, and National team to advise us of any challenges regarding your employment while displaced so that we may raise them with the employer as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
